When a video consultation is not appropriate.
- Acute chest pain, severe breathlessness or suspected heart attack — call emergency services (112 in Belgium).
- Loss of consciousness, stroke-like symptoms or a very rapid, sustained heartbeat with distress.
- Important: a video consultation is not suitable whenever an in-person diagnostic test or instrumental exam is required — such as a physical examination, ECG, echocardiography, carotid Doppler or stress test. These must be performed on site at the Etterbeek practice.
